A Message From The President

Our Spring Golf Tournament was a success and we were able to raise money for ASHRAE Research Promotion! In the April Chapter meeting Chris Edmondson was great as always. There was a good opportunity for some of you to pick up 4 PDH s and we raised more money for ASHRAE Research Promotion. And with the webcast providing 3 more PDHs this past month, our members has the opportunity to pick up 7 PDHs.

We had our elections in the April Chapter Meeting and your new officers and committee chairs for 2010-2011 are as follows:

We are now down to our last meeting of the ASHRAE 2009-2010 year. Your Greenville Chapter has been really strong this year and Programs Chair, Manuel delValle, has done a great job of lining up programs for you. When this year ends we will have heard from four (4) Distinguished Lecturers, had a site visit at Furman and had a visitor from the South Carolina Energy Office.

Our last meeting will be held at the Greenville Drive Baseball Field. It will be held on May 13, 2010. The Chapter meeting will run from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. There will be dinner from 6:00 – 7:00 and the game will be at 7:00 pm. Please invite your friends and family. The cost will be $20 a head for everyone who will be there for dinner presentation and game. If you would like to have your family join you after the presentation, we can get a ticket only within our block for
the cost of $7 a ticket. Please see the Chapters Program section below for more information and get with Manuel del Valle to reserve your place.
