Chapters and Regions ASHRAE has more than 160 chapters organized into thirteen regions and a region at large.ASHRAE Chapters provide an opportunity for members to become involved in the Society at the local level. Members, who otherwise might not be able to participate, can further their knowledge of the industry, network with others in the same industry, mentor younger members and contribute to their community at large through Chapter programs. Opportunities abound for active chapter members, even if they are unable to attend national meetings. Every year, each region hosts a CRC (Chapters Regional Conference) which allows members to meet and interact with national officers of the society. The Greenville Chapter is one of seven chapters in Region IV.
